Greta Thunberg responds to Donald Trump after he weighed in on her being ‘kidnapped’ by Israeli forces amid recent deportation

Greta Thunberg fired back at Donald Trump after he called her a “strange, angry person” who needs “anger management class.” The 22-year-old activist made the remarks upon arriving in France after being deported from Israel, where she was detained while attempting to deliver aid to Gaza. Thunberg maintains she was “kidnapped in international waters,” while Israel dismissed the mission as a “media provocation.” Trump downplayed her claims, saying Israel has “enough problems without kidnapping Greta Thunberg.”

When asked about Trump’s comments, Thunberg responded: “The world needs more young, angry women—especially now.” She reiterated that she entered Israel against her will and defended her mission to break Gaza’s siege, calling it a “live-streamed genocide”—a claim Israel strongly denies. The exchange highlights the ongoing tension between the activist and her critics.
