Get Ready For The Strawberry Full

Skywatchers, get ready! The Strawberry Moon, known for its warm amber and sometimes rosy glow, will light up the night sky in June. This year’s event marks either the last full moon of spring or the first of summer, serving as the sixth of 2025’s twelve full moons. Occasionally, it aligns with the summer solstice, as seen in 2016 when an astronaut captured its stunning rise from the ISS. In 2023, it cast a magical glow over New York’s Statue of Liberty, creating unforgettable photos.

The 2025 Strawberry Moon will be most visible at sunset on June 10 in the southeastern U.S., painting the sky with its signature golden hue. Its peak illumination will occur early on June 11 at 3:44 A.M. ET. Don’t miss this breathtaking celestial display—it’s a sight worth waking up for!
