Meghan Markle’s popularity made Kate Middleton “jealous,” according to a royal expert’s new book

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are not the best of friends. When the former Suits star joined the royal family, the two were supposed to enjoy a great friendship. However, things swiftly went south, and Kate and Meghan no longer contact. Meghan Markle’s place in the royal family shifted dramatically after she joined it.

The former Suits star had a large following at first, but her reputation declined once she and Harry split up.

Prince William and Kate Middleton were the more well-liked of the two couples when Meghan started her royal duties. But while the public’s response to her turned out to be very positive, a royal expert claims that William and Kate didn’t enjoy it.

Everything changed when Meghan Markle joined the royal family. At first, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton appeared to be a perfect match. Prince Harry hoped that his girlfriend and future bride would become best pals.

Meghan and Harry have moved into the comfy Nottingham Cottage on Kensington Palace grounds. She was apparently “taken aback” by the brothers’ differences when they went to drink cocktails at William and Catherine’s lavish apartment, according to Jobson’s book, which is being serialised in the Daily Mail. “According to a close insider, Meghan was not jealous, but she was taken away by Harry’s brother’s lavish lifestyle in comparison to their own. “Perhaps it marked the start of all the conflicts between the couples,” said the professor.

Of course, Meghan was aware that William was the heir presumptive, but she felt that Harry, as a prince of the realm, deserved more. However, it appears that other members of the royal family share Meghan Markle’s jealousy.

Robert Jobson alleges that Prince William and Kate Middleton grappled with Meghan’s enormous popularity. “At first, Meghan received a resoundingly positive response from the public, capturing the majority of headlines and maybe prompting William and Catherine to improve their game. There were rumors of jealousy and pettiness, according to Jobson.

He said, “Petty slights, whether imagined or not, helped to widen the cracks between the two couples.”
