How To Fix A Hole In Clothing Without Sewing

Noticing a hole in your favorite shirt, sweater, or pair of pants is never fun. And with the quality of most clothing these days, little holes seem to sprout up on a regular basis. If you don’t know how to sew (or simply don’t like to), today is your lucky day. We’re about to show you the secret to fixing a hole in clothing without having to touch a needle and thread. Thanks to Classy Cheapskate for letting us know about this clever method!

You will need:

Fusing web (found at Walmart, most craft stores)

Directions:

Step 1: Turn the piece of clothing in question inside-out. Next, cut a small piece of the fusing web that is slightly bigger than the hole you’re looking to patch.

Step 2: Carefully push the fabric surrounding the hole together so that you can no longer see the hole. Place the piece of fusing web you’ve just cut over the hole.

Step 3: Set your iron to the “wool” setting. Place a piece of wax paper over the hole and fusing web so that the iron doesn’t stick.

Step 4: Hold the iron on the hole and fusing web for about 10 seconds.

And that’s it! This is such an easy, effective way to patch small holes without having to find your sewing kit. If you’re interested in watching the full process, click on the video below.

To make your clothes more fashionable, you can also opt for custom patches that are designed according to your ideas. They have various processes including embroidered patches, printed patches, and woven patches that can be placed nicely on the clothes by ironing.
