Found an old, finger-sized object in an old house, any ideas what it is? Looks kinda like a small shovel
More from the owner:
It is a small metal object, very light, almost no heft to it. It’s point is very sharp. The whole thing has pits and is quite mottled and rusted, if that is the right term for the damage it’s sustained.
Some of the people opinions on it:
1. It’s the striker from a garden-themed wind chime that uses a miniature watering can as the suspension point for the chimes. I have one.
2. Could be a vintage Parmesan cheese sampling knife, where a cheesemonger would have had it on a chain around their neck.
3. Scorpions spear / get over here
4. clock wieght? plum line weight?
5. Looks like Scorpions spear from Mortal Kombat
6. Looks to me like a arrowhead hanger/pendant. They come in all kind of shapes/sizes/places of the world. Some have the base of an old arrowhead and got a decorative piece added on it.
7. Looks like the spikes you get on the top of a metal fence
