Due to ingredients used by an unregulated manufacturer, the medication is being recalled due to a fear of possible contamination. It\u2019s Ramipril capsules in strengths of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This particular medication is prescribed for hypertension. It is used to open the blood vessels and reduce heart pressure. It is usually administered after a heart attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the ingredients was being used by a factory in India with improper checks done for their suppliers. The FDA thinks the risk is low, but, better safe than sorry. Currently, there have been no adverse effects.
