According to a reporter who was there during Markle\u2019s final engagement, it was a time of\u2019mourning\u2019 for the servants who had looked after the couple while they were at Buckingham Palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scobie went on to further explain in an article for Harper\u2019s Bazaar that the \u2018tears that the Duchess had been bravely holding back [were] free to flow among familiar faces\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He shared: \u201cThe Duchess of Sussex emotionally [bid] much-loved aides farewell, with her flight \u2018home\u2019 to Canada leaving in a matter of hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMeghan would fly back to Canada on the last commercial flight of the day, eager to be back in Vancouver Island by the morning before Archie wakes up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Markle was reportedly reported to have told a close friend in \u2018tears\u2019 that she had given up her \u2018entire life for this family\u2019 after being chastised for the couple\u2019s decision to stand down from their royal obligations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the time she reportedly said she \u2018was willing to do whatever it takes\u2019 to make things work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
