The outcome? Looks like he dug up the mammoth\u2019s ribs, skull, vertebrae, and horns! What a discovery!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Realizing the importance of the discovery, James contacted researchers at the University of Michigan and a team of workers with an excavator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.readthefullstory.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/3-10.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2839\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After digging deep, people found the remains of a woolly mammoth, a species that lived more than 10,000 years ago.
